SOAPSTONE ANIMAL IN A BOX (Extra Small)

An exquisite hand carved miniature stone animal in its own box. Colour varies from Pinky-cream to beige. Each piece comes in its own hand-woven banana fibre box, ready for immediate display or presentation as a gift.

The soap stone collection is hand-carved by Kenyan artisans using hand-quarried soapstone from the hills around Kisii. The carving of soapstone is a major cottage industry in the Kisii area, and provides work for many community groups.
