FISHING FLIES (Still Water Selection)

Kenya has been producing fishing flies since the 1930s and is now the largest single producer in the world, selling hundreds of thousands of flies every year, which are exported all over the world.

The skills have been learned by many people based in rural areas around Kenya and by many people with physical disabilities. Many of the flies produced are tied at home and help boost a thriving cottage industry.
