BANANA FIBRE BASKET (Leather Binding)

These beautiful hand woven baskets are made by women in rural Taita Taveta from natural materials. Sisal which grows abundantly is the main material used for weaving. Each basket represents hours of work and every piece is unique and is crafted by hand using traditional weaving techniques that have been passed down through the generations.
